Garlo World Mineral Resources is a South African based company that sells and supply coal and anthracite to local markets as well as overseas markets.

We supply Anthracite, Grade A coal for export market and Grade C for local market.

Our target market includes companies in Europe, Asia and Southern Africa that buy coal/chrome. We sell coal/chrome in bulk on a contract basis for a minimum period of 12 months and a maximum of 60 months (5 years).

  • We supply coal for various energy resources.
  • We supply coking coal.
  • We supply steaming coal.
  • We supply Anthracite.

Grade A : Specification

  • Gross Calorific Value 6,000 kcal/kg Minimum
  • Total Moisture < 12%
  • Volatile Matter > 22%
  • Ash < 15%
  • Sulphur < 0.4% Maximum
  • Calcium Oxide in Ash
  • HGI Typical 45-70

Clients are welcome to provide their own specification

DELIVERY: Delivery of coal/chrome is done according to clients needs.

The client can request one of the following two methods:

  • CFR (Port of Loading) Overseas.
  • FOB Richards Bay (South Africa)

CONTRACT: 12 months with extensions

CERTIFICATE : An analytical certificate will be submitted on the specific stockpile secured for the transaction

QUANTITY/MONTH: 80,000 to 500 000 MT per month

General Procedure:

  • The Buyer sends Letter of Intent with proof of funds, issued by its banker.
  • Buyer signs Full Corporate Offer (FCO) or formal written acceptance and return to Seller.
  • Seller sends draft contract and Buyer brings Letter of Credit / Bank Guarantee in place.
  • Buyer and Seller to sign final Sale and Purchase Agreement.
  • The Buyer to affect LC/Guarantee.
  • An analytical certificate will be submitted on the specific stockpile secured for the transaction. Port slot documents shall be submitted to the buyer.
  • Dispatch shall commence after the fulfillment of the above procedure, as per the terms and conditions of a contract and delivery schedule.
